Probably a technical reason. To me it looks to be a case of poor lighting and too many shadows. And the subject is not really very different or interesting if a person wanted to license a great image of a clock. Does the time of 5:36 (or 5:37) have a special significance? That seems to be a strange time for the end of a working day.
