Question

Vector art submission RGB or CMYK?

Hi, can someone tell me if my vector art stock submissions should be in RGB or CMYK? I have seen a mix of Adobe Stock vectors. Designers that do print work generally work in CMYK. If you start out in RGB, the color may shift when converted to CMYK. Thanks.

You did a correct analysis. I would use CMYK. But it really is no requirement...

See here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/vector-requirements.html

I would STRONGLY recommend to submit vector stock using the ZIP method. And please note the for Illustrator EPS files, you cannot embedd the PDF as recommended. That's only possible for Illustrator native files.

Most output vectors to CMYK while JPG's are outputted to RGB. Many upload to different MS places so its possible why people upload different colour formats. 🤷
