Vector Uploads Temporarily Disabled

Hi all, We have temporarily disabled all vector uploads at both Fotolia and Adobe Stock for maintenance. We will resume uploads as soon as possible and will update in this forum post when that happens. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

I think this is not a technical issue but a "delimitation" decision and this "temporary condition" can take longer than we thought.

That's what I thought too - but wouldn't it be easier for Adobe not to accept so many vectors instead of confusing and scaring the contributors away?

Vector uploads are disabled and they are for some reason unknown to all of us except Adobe. All the rest is speculation. The first really interesting question was the one regarding the CC give away for 300+ contributions.

Thank you for checking in, Mat, and letting us know it's still disabled. I'm a relatively new contributor, and I had a goal of getting 300 approved files in 2018 in order to obtain the free CC subscription for a year. Would you consider extending the deadline for vector artists to match the amount of time that the vector uploads have been disabled?

There is no deadline for the CCP giveaway. It will go this year while supplies last. You will still be able to qualify.

I'm sorry everyone but there is no update at this time. I will be sure to let you know the moment I learn of either the restoration of vector uploads or an estimated date.

I'm sorry, but that's not good enough. This has been down for nearly 3 weeks. When I see "temporarily disabled", I think a few hours, maybe a day at the most. I understand that you may not be able to give us an exact date as to when service will be restored, but it would be nice to know WHY it's been disabled? WHAT kind of maintenance you're doing and why its taking so long to get right? Roughly WHEN we can expect it to be back up?

I'd like to see what would happen if you suspended photo uploads for a month with no advance notice, reason, or status updates. I hate to say it, but it seems like Adobe really doesn't care all that much about Vector Illustrators.

Hi!
I tried to upload (like the data upload) and sent the vectors to the review team and everything went seamless.

The data upload was ok and the approved my content (I've got the emails as well).

In addition those pictures appeared in my portolio too.

The red bar on the top of the contributor page is still shown though.

Maybe they're fixed that issue?

Wo kommen eigentlich die über 45.000 Vektoren her, die anscheinend erst innerhalb der letzten Woche bei Fotolia (oder Adobe) hochgeladen wurden?????? Der Upload funktioniert doch schon seit einer Woche nicht mehr...

It is appalling that contributors were not informed before the maintenance work started.

[I kept trying to upload unsuccessfully, than I suspected that my files have some issue…]

Now, we are kept in dark again.

I am wondering what kind of “maintenance” is this, lasting for 5 day so far?

Would you be kind to give us an update?
