Question

Very Confused

I uploaded my first 10 photos and I've gotten conflicting emails on several of my photos.  I've gotten acceptance and rejection emails for the same photos.  Has anyone else had this issue?  I do not understand and must say, I feel quite humiliated by some of the responses from Adobe's moderators.  Almost makes me want to give up!

Hi fdptemecula,

In the case of getting conflicting responses, I'd first check to see what is the real case. Is the image really rejected or accepted. To know if your image was accepted click on "Dashboard" on the black menu bar. If your file is accepted, you will find it on the open page(s). If it is not there, it is rejected; in which case on the "Uploaded Files" page you click on "Rejected" below the black bar. Find the relevant thumbnail, click on it, read the full reason for rejection, and the suggestions, then proceed from there to take steps to correct the issue if it can be rectified, or if you need help to request it on this forum. If your work is on the dashboard page, there's nothing to do but upload more gorgeous images.

I hope you found this helpful

Regards

I saw this just today with my pictures as well.

One image was accepted this afternoon but a few mins ago I got a rejection email with the reason as "Non-compliant". I'm not upset about rejections but conflicting messages on the same image are very confusing indeed and will not help in improving the quality of images uploaded.

We need to see the pictures of which you speak. Thanks JH

This was my image which was accepted at 12:27 pm ET but was declined with the non-compliance reason at 4:07 pm ET. The image I submitted had no watermark, of course.

First of all: Adobe moderators appreciate the fittness of the images to be used in stock. They do not or only little appreciate the artistic approach to the picture. There are great pictures that get refused. That’s life. I have some pictures that missed the entry to Adobe stock. No need to be humiliated.

Second of all: I would love to see the acceptance and rejection for the same image. Was the acceptance before or after the refusal? Did you submit twice? What were the refusal reasons?

If you show one of the pictures, I’m sure you will get critics of what may probably be the refusal reason.

No need to give-up (...for the moment). We are willing to help.
