There are many videos of the Rialto Bridge in Venice online,  yet my video files keep getting rejected as intellectual property refusal. There used to be a list id which "Landmarks" are accepatable or not . I cannot find this anymore ????

IT is time that a supervisor was appionted to take complaints about intellectual refusal as the untrained people who are doing this now are making serious mistakes. I have just had another high definition pro res video of the Grand Canal venice rejected. The decision is WRONG>! I have a similar video shot that is accepted and online and  has made 8 sales.  ADOBE get your act together and introduce an illustrative editorial  button to video contribution.

This is all speculation & conjecture on your part.

We can't see the offending asset unless you post it here.

Failing that, this topic is over.

Just for information I have been shooting and selling stock video for 30 years and have about 800 clips on Getty. and I sell 40-50 clips every month .I am unable to post the clip as it is 4K and 1.5GB in size.  If you search" Grand Canal Venice" on your site my video is number 1 out of 16000. The similar clip  which has been refused is a slightly wider angle version. I am keen to get more of my video on Adobestock but as much of my content is travel and of course every video has incidental people in it they all get refused for intellectual or no model release.  Thanks for your help.

There might be other reasons it was flagged for IP violation. Perhaps something you overlooked.

Does your image have any signs, logos or people in it? Any of those could cause a rejection.

From Google:

  • Personal photography:
Taking personal photos on the Rialto Bridge or other public areas is legal and does not require a permit.

  • Professional photography:
If your activity involves professional equipment, commercial purposes, or large groups, it is likely to require a permit. For example, some parks require permits for commercial photo shoots.

  • Commercial or organized shoots:
For professional work, you should contact the relevant authorities in Venice to inquire about specific permit requirements.
