Watermark to ask for critique

Hi, please let me know should I watermark my rejected photos to post & ask for comments?

Since they are rejected for quality issued I'm afraid the watermark might cover some details in photos.

Meanwhile its important for me to watermark them somehow if I'm to post in original size.

Thanks

I don't know how far the moderators zoom in to view a photo. Adobe says zoom in to 100%, however, it is actually a very good idea to go to even 200%. Then you can be more aware of noise and artifacts and other factors that can result in rejection. You kind of have to pixel peep when reviewing your photos before submission!

It's important to post the EXACT file you submitted. If there are any edits at all, it won't be the same file. There may be new artefacts from further JPEG saving, for example. We'll also see the watermark and tell you that's why it's rejected without looking any further. I understand your wish to protect your photos, but that seems to be the only game in town. After a few days you can click REPORT and ask (it's a request only) that your photo be deleted.

Thanks so much for nice & comprehensive answer. Most probabely the images were rejected for noise, but I saw them at 100% & there was no noise, but maybe the reviewer zoomed a little more say 125% or 150% to make sure, at this point you may see a little noise. Though, this was always my concern if reviewers zoom a a little more to make sure about something. I will post one of them in forum to ask for comments, thanks again.
