Question

Weekly submission limit hit at ~500 files — previously 1,000/week; "In review" queue is empty

Hi everyone,

I'm a long-time Adobe Stock contributor and I've hit a submission limit this week — hoping someone can clarify what's going on.

My situation:

- Until now I was submitting around 1,000 files per week without issues

- This week I was blocked after roughly 500 submissions with a "submission limit reached" message

- My "In review" tab shows 0 pending files, so this doesn't look like the pending-moderation cap — it appears to be the weekly submission limit

My questions:

1. Have weekly submission limits been reduced recently? I used to submit ~1,000/week without hitting any limit.

2. When does the weekly limit reset — is there a fixed reset day?

    1. Possibly. 1,000 assets is a lot. Focus less on quantity & more on quality.
    1. Check back in 8 days.

I’m curious. I assume your 1000 submissions per week are AI? That’s a lot. One of the main reasons upload limits were set was to curtail large submissions of AI assets, some as high as 10,000 per week. Since the submission limit is dynamic and different for each contributor, perhaps the algorithm in your case set a new personal limit. All guess-work on my part, but I suppose it’s possible.

Here’s all we know about submission limits:

Dynamic Submission Quotas (Weekly Limit & Pending Moderation Limit):

    • Adobe Stock has implemented updated submission limits to maintain collection quality and manage the volume of content, especially with the rise of generative AI submissions.
    • These limits are not a fixed number for all contributors. They are dynamic and based on several factors related to your account's performance and history, including:
      • Your weekly submission limit.
      • The maximum amount of content you can have pending moderation (in review).
      • Your approval rate and sales performance—a higher acceptance rate and more sales can generally increase your limit over time.
    • When you reach either your weekly limit or the maximum number of allowed files pending moderation, you will experience a temporary pause before you can submit more content. The limit resets once the pending files have been reviewed or the weekly period resets.

Thanks for the explanation — I'm aware of the dynamic submission quotas (weekly limit + pending moderation cap

My question is about the sudden drop: until last week I was submitting around 1,000 files per week without hitting any limit. This week I got blocked after roughly 500. My "In review" queue is at 0, so it's clearly the weekly limit — but why would it suddenly halve from one week to the next when nothing changed on my account?

Has Adobe tightened weekly limits recently, or is there any way to see what my current weekly limit actually is.

As mentioned, it all the information we have on the issue. Personally, I haven’t heard any official notice that the limits have been reduced. But it’s certainly a possibility.
