Question

What is wrong with this photo?

Hello! I’m new to Adobe Stock. My image was rejected because of “quality issues”, but I’m not sure what exactly caused the problem or how I can fix it. Could someone explain what might be wrong with the image? Is there anything specific I should pay attention to during post-processing? Thanks in advance!

Before you submit, compare your best work with similar Stock inventory to see if 1) it’s something Stock needs and 2) if it’s better or more unique than what they’re selling.

In keywords with lots of competing content, your work will need to shine above all the rest.  Highest visual and technical quality, along with telling a story or providing a new concept that other artists haven’t thought of yet.

    Hope that helps.

The white area on the left side of the face appears to be blownout.

    Hey @wallison_souza

With an image like this, consider the rule of 3rds.
People want to be able to add text or copy to their image/ post/ website.
Take a few minutes and remove distractions. PS has some very powerful removal tools.

    Cheers

    Hello,

You ask: ‘...Is there anything specific I should pay attention to ...’

    Yes, there is!

    I would suggest composition!

This composition could be stronger. Small subjects dead center are often best avoided.
