Hello everyone, help me understand what's wrong with my seamless pattern, size 5000x5000 500dpi was not accepted due to quality, I'm already tired of wasting time sending it(((

Correct answer Abambo

Size in pixels is not a quality attribute, and the dpi value is completely superfluous as an indication. Your asset, as published here, has 2500px, so I assume you did scale down before publishing on this forum. So I can only comment on what is in this down scaled asset:

  • You have colour noise.
  • You have compression artefacts.
  • You have strangely aliased lines.

    (before you cry foul: I've zoomed-in a lot, to make it more visible, but you see the issue at 100%!)

  • You have inconsistencies with your transparency handling. Some elements are transparent in one place and opaque in another.

=========

1) This pattern should be a math-based vector graphic, not a pixel-based raster image.  Vectors are submitted as AI, EPS or SVG files.

2) Vectors are resolution independent, meaning the graphic can be scalled up or down without any quality loss. DPI is meaningless.

Read the submission requirements for Vector Graphics below.

Good luck.

Thank you,this was not sent as a vector, this is a pattern assembled from clip art drawn by me in ProCreate. but a version of the same file with color inversion is accepted))

It's not possible to evaluate your image in the format you share. It's just too small
