What’s wrong with my illustration

Math-based vector graphic illustrations typically sell better than pixel-based images. Why? Because vectors can be scaled up or down to any size the customer requires without quality loss.  Edges remain sharp & crisp at any size. You can’t do that with JPEG & PNG files. 

Read the entire vector requirements in your Contributor User Guide. Vector illustrations should be submitted as sRGB color Adobe Illustrator files -- .ai, .eps or .svg.

Seems out of focus. But that’s what makes judging illustrations such as this difficult. That may have been your intentions, but the moderator disagreed with your decision. Also, it may have benefitted from being done with some color. Monotone images are generally rejected, since the buyer can turn the image into black and white if they so desire.
