Question

What technical issue was the reason

These two got denied for technical reasons. Can someone help me with what they mean? And if the answer is that the image is not sharp enough, is there any articles on the rules on the sharp/zoom ratio to look out for when you edit? Like, at what zoom level they're gonna start accepting that you no longer can spot the individual hairs. Hope someone understands what I mean 🙂

Hello,

White balance is also an issue - it is a bit too warm looking and not enough contrast. The images are a bit dull.

Views size, by the way - she means that when viewing images on the monitor it should be viewed at 100%. You can then see more of the flaws in the image. These flaws can be noticed when printed, especially if one is printing to a large size.

Both of the images are not sharp enough. If at least the horses were really well focused, the images could be accepted. To assess the sharpness and also for re-sharpening, the view size should be at least 100%. But if an image is poorly focused, re-sharpening is of no use either.
