When is an image considered spam?

Hello, I recently joined Adobe Stock, and some of my images were rejected. After reviewing examples of rejected submissions, I have a better understanding of the criteria. However, I’m a bit concerned that if I continue refining and resubmitting an image after rejection, it might eventually be classified as spam.

Would you be able to provide some guidance on when it would be best to stop submitting? Or would it be better for me to submit a new image instead?

You can resubmit multiple times, but only if you really tried to improve the asset. And definitely, you should never resubmit an unmodified asset, just to check if it gets refused a second time.

When you make correction to a refused file and resubmit, that's not considered spamming. You can do that multiple times. It will be considered spam if you do no modification and resubmit or if it was a no commercial value refusal and you resubmit, in which case you will receive a non-compliant refusal.

If a file was accepted and you resubmit the same accepted file, that is considered spam. If you submit multiple similar files, that's spam.

To save time, you could ask us to help sometimes after one or two attempts on your own. There might be issues that you keep overlooking that we might be able to highlight.

I will generally make at least one attempt to correct and resubmit a rejected asset. If it is rejected a second time, I move on.
