Question

Why Adobe review process mark 100% photo as AI generated?

Hello,

I don't know how Adobe review process is working but I see that it becomes worse. For last month I got strange rejections that was not before.

And as a final... today they reject my 100% studio photo as AI generated. There is nothing 0% of AI in this photo, but somehow they think that it's AI generated.

If first step of review process is done by another AI... please train your AI better. I'm disappointed that not good working AI rejects work that the photographer spends time on. If Adobe thinks that automatic AI review process is inevitable, then just please make dispute more clear, so I can ask real person for re-review my weird rejected photo.

Tell us what refusal reasons you got.

Moderator error. They refused, but gave the wrong reason. You should post the high-resolution asset so that we can have a look into it.

I would say that moderators need training. Not because they refuse, but because they let pass many assets that should be refused.

There is no possibility to dispute a refusal. How could this be made more clear?

Were you asked to submit a Model Release?

When an Adobe Stock contributor fails to submit a valid model or property release when required, their content will be rejected as non-compliant.

Hope that helps.

Adobe uses human Moderators to check our assets, and they do make mistakes sometimes. Resubmit it, with the model release, of course, and it will most likely be accepted the second time. I do find the composition a bit odd, though, with his hands partially cut off, so there is a chance that it will be rejected based on quality issues.

I'm not sure that Adobe use only human moderation. For example if I upload 100 photos, part of them (for example 5) will be rejected in several hours. Part of them (for example 80) will be accepted in 3-7 days. The last part (15 photos) will be accepted or rejected in 10-20 days. This looks like Adobe has different "levels" of moderation. And about 95% of rejections are coming from first hours, this really looks like some AI scaning our photos and reject something that is 100% not suitable for stock. The problem is that it makes mistakes sometimes. This is what I think, sure I can't proof this.

Adobe has stated repeatedly that they employ human moderators, though I suppose it's possible that parts of the process are somewhat automated. If you submit 100 images all at once, there is no assurance that all will end up in the same queue for the same Moderator. Many Contributors have reported that assets get reviewed out of sequence or that an entire batch is not moderated at the same time. Nor do they necessarily review on a first-in/first-out basis. I often get newer submissions reviewed while old submissions are still waiting.
