Why did my photos get rejected?

I am a beginner here and have posted a few photos (5) for the first time. However, four out of five photos were rejected. I am wondering why and have attached one photo. I look forward to receiving your valuable feedback.

Depth of Field: The background is somewhat blurred due to the shallow depth of field, amplified by the misty conditions.
Let me add that the shadows are underexposed slightly and the wall in the foreground should be cropped out.
