Why has my favourite Pic been rejected due to quality issues?

Hello Stock Community?

 

I am new and try to find out, which photos could bei interesting for stock customers. One of my favourite Pic has been rejected now, I wonde why?

 

Does anybody have some clues for me? Thanks a lot

Hello,

This was taken using a smartphone camera, right?

Due to this, when seen at 100%, quality issues become more noticeable—for example, banding in the sky—the colour graduation is not even.

This happens with smartphone cameras.

You might also consider doing a search on Adobe stock for "airplane wings from window."

There are several issues with this picture:

  • The white balance is too cool.
  • There is a reflection from the window that needs to be edited out.
  • The image has a low contrast. Probably taking a picture through the window lowered the contrast.

In addition, there is a colour clipping in the blue sky, but that may be because you uploaded a lower quality picture. The same is true for the compression artefacts, that I see.

 

I would also edit out the ID numbers, just to avoid IP problems.

Perhaps the white balance is too blue.
