Hello,

I'm new to the contributors community and I wanted to know what were the specifis criteria for a photo to be accepted or not?

e.g. why this photo has been rejected? no blur, no noise, high quality...

Thank you

Hello,

Your drone image is saved using the JPG file format. The camera software has applied some post-processing, like adding more saturation. The result of this is what you see. For Adobe stock, it could be considered too saturated.

The sky is also a bit too blue looking:

Meaning your white balance needs to be adjusted.

It is these sorts of things that can be considered 'quality issues'.

Still not perfect, but a quick lowering of the saturation shows more natural looking grass.

Sure. The drone also has a small sensor that introduces a challange on it's own. Your pictures were not that impacted by this, but it still has an influence on the picture quality. In addition to that, your editing may have introduced other quality issues, especially if you rework JPEG files.

It is over saturated.

well... the photo has not been retouched, I guess natural colors in Switzerland are oversaturated, but thanks for the advice

If you're shooting in jpg your camera is applying in-camera processing. My iPhone jpg images are almost always over-saturated and I have to adjust them in Lightroom.
