why is my image rejected? Need more input than just "Quality Issue"

Hello fellow photographer. Often if I’m going anywhere, I’ll grab a camera with the goal of coming back with at least 5 good photos that I can sell. There’s no planing, I don’t know what I’m looking for, and rarely I come home empty handed. In fact, about 1/2 of the videos I’m selling have been shot with my camera phone.

BUT… there’s a big but. Whatever I shoot has to more than get my attention, it has to have commercial value that many clients are looking for. For example, what do you think more clients are looking for, a monkey looking at the camera, or a man’s hands laying bricks to build a wall?  

I agree with other contributors you need to improve with editing your photos. But I don’t think better exposures would make this shots acceptable for Adobe Stock. I suggest that you pause from contributing shots like this, and focus in developing your eye and editing skills. That also means spending more time shooting… shoot shoot and shoot more, but do so slowing down and shooting with purpose.

You will not be wasting your time, you’ll de developing to only your skills, but more important you’ll start noticing where your attention goes, be more observant and connecting to your camera.

With consistent commitment on your love for photography you will improve beyond what you believe today!

Adobe gives you one refusal reason as a courtesy. Although there may be multiple reasons for refusal, they can only check one box per submission. The evaluation ends at problem #1. That’s all they have time for.
