Why were my AI images flagged as similar content?

Hello,

I recently submitted two AI‑generated images that were rejected with the explanation that they resemble existing content already available on Adobe Stock. Could you please share your thoughts on why this might have happened?

I would also appreciate any suggestions on how to avoid this issue in the future—for example, whether improving the title, keywords, or metadata could help differentiate my submissions.

Thank you very much for your guidance!

Hi @Felix38512568txkq

I am confused. These images are thumbnails of accepted assets with the watermark and ID number. Refused images do not have ID numbers and watermarks. The first image has a quality issue. The subject margins are not completely sharp.

Best wishes

Hi Jacquelin,

Thank you very much for your message and for pointing out the issues you found in my image. I really appreciate your feedback. I also wanted to mention that I used the official Adobe Stock URLs — there are two links, one for the thumbnails and another for the preview. In the refused images section, you only need to change 220_F_ to 1000_F_ in the image URL to access the preview version.

Best regards,

Interesting. However, as we've always stated, the rejected image is still just reduced to a thumbnail version.

Changing metadata might help. But then again, it might not.

This is what Stock has to say about similar content.

If you don't get satisfaction from Stock, you can submit your "similars" to other services.

Hope that helps.

This confused me, since the examples posted appear to have been accepted.

Those images are actually in the 'Not Accepted' section. I just copied their URLs to attach them to my message.

Search the forum for "similar content." This is an issue contributors are facing and it's been discussed for months now.
