Hi,

im just a hobbyphotographer and since some months a lot of my images are not accepted because of quality reasons and i dont know why. Im not doing anything different than before. Here some examples. On other platforms like shutterstock i anything gets accepted.

Left and right branches need removed and some of the highlights are without details and need to be filled in. Also, the focus is a little soft.

We hear that a lot. Adobe's standards are not Shutterstock's standards. I think the yellow case is a little overbearing in this one and the sky could use some saturation.

thanks for the answer. The weird thing is at the beginning it was the other way... here i got anything accepted and on shutterstock almost nothing. Things have changed it seems

Shutterstock and Adobe have different customers with different expectations.  And Adobe pays higher royalty rates, so they're looking for commercial quality content.

Unfortunately, Stock already contains 22 million white flowers. So even if you fix the focus issues, your flower image is unlikely to get seen, much less purchased.

Look for Stock subjects that need representation. Mundane objects like clothespins can be good sellers because few people are submitting them.

Hope that helps.
