Widespread SMS Gateway Error: Cannot add Pakistani (+92) mobile number to new Contributor Account

Hello Adobe Community and Support Team,

I am trying to complete my registration process for a new Adobe Stock Contributor account, but I am completely stuck on the mobile phone number verification step.

When trying to add my number, I keep getting the generic error: "An error occurred while performing this action. Please try again later."

I have carefully verified that I am formatting the number correctly (removing the leading zero after selecting the country code, e.g., +92 309xxxxxxx). I have also tried every troubleshooting step recommended in similar threads, including:

  • Clearing browser cache and cookies
  • Trying alternative browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari)
  • Attempting the setup using Mobile Data instead of local Wi-Fi
  • Trying a completely separate mobile network carrier SIM card
  • Attempting the setup via the Adobe Creative Cloud mobile application

None of these options work, which heavily suggests a recurring routing/gateway failure between Adobe's international SMS verification provider and telecom networks in Pakistan (+92).

Could an Adobe Administrator or Employee please look into my account or advise on how to bypass this verification screen so I can access my Contributor Dashboard?

Thank you.

This not Adobe support.  Adobe doesn’t monitor this user-to-user web forum.

Many users in your region are encountering signup and phone verification failures because Adobe does not fully operate services in Pakistan. Local telecom networks frequently block SMS verification codes routed from international servers.

I’m sorry to say, there’s nothing anybody can do while these blocks remain in effect.
