A bug encountered during the use of generative fill

When trying to use the remove feature in generative fill, I tried to "subtract" the removed part yet nothing happened. The brush circle did show up on the image but when I click and move it around, it doesn't seem to do anything. Nothing gets highlighted and nothing changes or is removed. I hope this helps.
