Adobe Firefly Image-to-Video

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with Adobe Firefly Image-to-Video where my uploaded vintage personal photos are being blocked with the message:

“We can't process this prompt because the reference image doesn't meet our User Guidelines.”

The images are harmless family/archive photos with no inappropriate or unsafe content. I’ve already tried converting files to JPG, renaming files, cropping, removing metadata, simplifying prompts, and testing different browsers, but the issue continues.

What’s confusing is that the same images work fine on other AI animation platforms. I’m wondering if this may be a false-positive moderation issue with older scanned photographs or archival images.

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Hey @riel777

Could you provide an example of one of your images that you are attempting to upload? and the prompt?

Each native platform operates differently. Adobe tends to be a bit more regulated/ strict than other platforms.

    Common problems

    • Long complicated prompts (often from ChatGPT)
(short easy to read prompts tend to work very well)
    • busy dark background images for videos. the images need to be easy to distinguish who the main characters are and what the background is.

    Anything to do with Children

    • if it has children or child like images (an absolute no/ firefly will not generate anything that even resembles a child/ even childlike)

    or

    • - the prompt has words associated with children example: boy, girl, kid, kids, child, children and so on...
Many Generation Models will not generate anything to do with children.

    Cheers

    Nate
