Question

Adobe Firefly incorrectly says it is unavailable in my region while I am located in the United States.

I am currently located in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, and my public IP address is also geolocated to Knoxville, Tennessee, USA. However, Adobe Firefly continues to display the message: “Adobe Firefly isn't available in your region.”

I have already tested multiple troubleshooting steps:

  • Both my Johnson University Adobe account and a separate personal Adobe account
  • School Wi-Fi and a mobile hotspot
  • Microsoft Edge InPrivate / private browsing
  • No VPN or proxy enabled
  • Adobe region changed to United States
  • Signed out and signed back in

The same region restriction appears in every case.

Since Adobe Firefly is available in the United States, this appears to be an incorrect region classification or Firefly entitlement issue on Adobe's side.

Please check the country/region associated with my Adobe accounts and the Firefly regional access/entitlement for my connection. I would appreciate help correcting this issue.

    Hi @courageous_amazement36b7,

To help us investigate further, could you please provide the following details?

    • What exact URL are you accessing when you see the "Adobe Firefly isn't available in your region" message?
    • Are you seeing this message immediately after signing in, or only when attempting to access specific Firefly features?
    • Does the issue occur on all Firefly experiences (Image, Video, Audio, Boards, etc.), or only certain tools?
    • Are both accounts using the same email domain (for example, your Johnson University domain and personal account), or does the issue affect completely unrelated accounts?
    • Have you recently traveled internationally or used a VPN on these accounts, even if it is currently disabled?
    • If you visit your Adobe Account settings, does the country/region shown there display United States for both accounts?
    • Could you share a screenshot of the region restriction message, including the full browser address bar if possible?

As an additional check, you may also want to:

    • Verify the account country/region settings in your Adobe Account profile.
    • Test from a different device on the same network.
    • Test from a mobile browser using cellular data only.
    • Ensure system date, time, and region settings are correctly configured on your device.

    Regards,

    Tarun

Hello, I am currently located in the United States, and my public IP is geolocated to Knoxville, Tennessee.

I tested Adobe Firefly using both my university Adobe account and a personal Adobe account. I also tested with a mobile hotspot, InPrivate browsing, and no VPN or proxy, but Firefly still shows: “Firefly isn't available in your region.”

I have already changed the Adobe website region to United States. Could you please check the country associated with my Adobe account and my Firefly entitlement, and confirm whether my account is being incorrectly classified as being in an unsupported region?
