Audio generate

I'm not sure if I just don't know how to use it, but when I put a prompt to generate audio, it generated a video instead, which didn't have audio either.

Ok, I understand. When you type a prompt into that box where you typed it, it is the control on the left which indicates what you want generated:

The only options are to create a video or image, not audio:

 

The audio button you selected below, reveals audio related functions in tiles below that menu. They are unrelated to the prompt box where you typed your prompt.
