Question

Can't generate a sky. Complete failure with error message.

Lately when I try to use Firefly to add a sky or anything to a high resolution image, it takes a long time and finally gives me an orange error saying that it can't be completed due to a network error. I'm not having any network issues so this is very frustrating and annoying. It used to work fine. I looked to see if I needed to update my Firefly but I don't see any notifications or update options. My Photoshop is also up to date.

 

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi @emilysgood,

 

If none of that works, can you show us a screen shot with the error message?  Additionally, if you are using Windows, the most likely culprit in any network related issue is the Defender Firewall. You can try resetting it to the defaults and see if that fixes the problem.

Just to add a tiny bit to what @daniellei4510  mentioned, I also turn my computer off and on after turning my wifi/ router off and on.

No guarantee, but when I start having network errors for whatever reason, I unplug my router and plug it back in again. That MIGHT help.

Hi Danielle, it usually works for me but for some reason it stopped. I have no idea why I keep getting this error about my Network having issues when it's not.  It used to take 3 seconds for me as well. I wish I knew how to fix it.

Hm. No problems on my end. Took about 3 seconds.
