Question

"Can't upload files. File name must use letters, numbers and spaces"? What is up with that??

This is a problem that makes zero sense. Adobe decided file names with a period is an unacceptable preset? I have 200 files that a client supplied that I'm trying to batch edit - anyone know a work around? And please don't say "manually edit 200 file names then upload them"......(screaming)Screenshot 2026-01-14 at 2.47.35 PM.png

I would think there are some free bath file rename applications available, but I don't know if they will allow you to eliminate or replace characters while retaining the original names.

Thanks, I do appreciate that  - but the fact it needs a "fix" at all is bizarre - Picsart.com is working better so far. No upload issues at all, no weird arbitrary rules for file names. I mean, c'mon Adobe.

Periods are weird. My main email address has a period in it and it works just fine with 99.9% of signups, confirmation replies, etc., but some email servers still choke on it when it sees the period and won't recognize it as a real email.
