Question

Can you save and print a text image that you generate in Firefly?

In using Firefly I have tried to generate text with AI.  Can such texts be saved and printed--if the end poduct is fo personal use only? I have also experimented with some AI generated images and would like to know if these images can be saved/printed---again strictly for personal use?  I often make custom photo books for my personal use---NOT to sell, using online publishing vendors and would use such images as title pages and/or as backgrounds for my personal photographs. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hi Cassandra, For any of the products using generative AI features (such as Firefly web site, Ilustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Express) these are the guidelines for use: Adobe Generative AI User Guidelines.  These guidelines say that content created with generative AI features can be used for commercial use unless the product is in beta and it says it cannot be used for commercial use.  The only other thing to note is if you are using the free Firefly plan, you cannot remove the watermark, even if your use is noncommercial/personal only.  I hope this answers your question.

Thank you. I am currently in a subscription plan which apparently does not have Firefly---which therefore means I must be using the free version.  I presume,  therefore if I want to get into the AI  World with Adobe I better adjust my current plan! I appreciate your time and help.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
