Question

Checking a generated vector image to see which engine I used to create it

Hi there.

In Illustrator, for a recent project I’ve been working on, I have generated a number of vector characters using the built-in Generative feature - all in the same document. I’m 99% confident I have only used the Firefly engines (to be commercially safe) - however is there a way to check this?

It seems the more recent generations show which engine was used, as well as the original prompt (in the Generative Object Properties panel), though older objects don't show anything in the same Properties panel (just the blue & white spark icon above the image).

I just want to be sure of the commercially-safe nature of the outputs, and want to check I didn’t accidentally use one of the partner models (though I doubt I did).

Many thanks in advance.

You can open the Generation panel and inside are the miniatures of the generated images. They have a small icon that shows the model. Also on rollover they show it in the tooltip

Amazing, thanks! Found it! And I assume all Firefly gens are commercially safe? Just double-checking...

Yes. In the drop down menu it’s in the headline which are commercially safe and which aren’t
