Composition Reference not being followed

Personally, everytime I use the new composition feature, it doesn't seem to register the structure of my image. I'm using a black and white PNG of a logo to hopefully have the render emulate the form of the "logo" but it's not at all adhering to the structure. Is there any reason?

Thank you for your message. I moved this to a new thread because it was not related to the composition reference control disappearing.

 

A few tips on composition references.... Make sure the composition image has the same aspect ratio of the image you are generating. The composition reference should not be transparent, should not have thin lines, and should have good contrast. Your prompt might have to reference the object in the composition reference.
