Alan Gilbertson and I have put together this Cross Product Creative Challenge
Welcome to a new Cross-Product Creative Challenge! Thanks to everyone who participated with such great creations in the movie poster challenge.

This time we’re switching from action movies to fashion. (NOTE: This is not a prompt challenge. There are other challenges for that.)

The Challenge [Read all of it!]:

Design a high-end magazine ad for wealthy, non-alien animals—any creature will do, so long as it lives on Earth. Start in Firefly or Boards or Express or Photoshop, but DO NOT stop at a prompt. There are quality details (lighting, contrast, composition) and content details you will have to get right.

Guidelines:

  • A prompt is not enough. Layer your assets and refine your composition. Treat Firefly and partner models as collaborators. Use prompts to generate assets you can put together in an ad.
  • Think like an art director. What’s the story here? Who are the audience and what is the marketing message?
  • It’s a Cross-Product Challenge! Use Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance, Adobe Express, Fresco—whatever tools will help you build the scene.
  • Share your process. Tell us how you created it. What tools did you use? How did you refine your idea? What choices did you make?

    THE MOTORCYCLES THAT MADE HISTORY

I was inspired by an old Italian Kawasaki ad.
I hesitated for a long time between “Kawolfsaki” and “Lupo-Guzzi,” but the eagle in the Moto-Guzzi logo sealed the deal.

I used Firefly, Gemini, and a lot of Photoshop for the text, remove a few unwanted parts and numerous adjustment layers to tweak the colors, contrast, hues, saturation, etc.
Same goes for the logo: Firefly restored the image, Gemini replaced “MOTO” with “LUPO,” and Photoshop was used for fine-tuning.

This is soo Foxy!!! The cross over design is Whoofvelious. The motorbike and the wolf turned out incredibly well. You used Gemini to replace MOTO w LUPO? interesting… how come you didn’t use Illustrator or PS for the text?

The colour adjustments are great. You seemed to have brought out the chrome and the  gas tank nicely. Did you sharpen the image as well?

    Cheers

When the legends of yesteryear dictate the style of tomorrow. For its autumn issue, ÉGÉRIE steps inside a Parisian palace to meet the new ambassador of Maison Aérion. Half lion, half eagle, this mythical creature of stately bearing embodies the very quintessence of haute couture with masterful confidence. Amidst an armor of midnight blue velvet, glints of gold, and metallic feather high jewelry, discover the manifesto of an imperial elegance where clothing becomes a living legend.

Here is the 2-page article of the ÉGÉRIE magazine, International edition.

Both images of the griffin and room have been generated via AI then assembled in Photoshop.

The AÉRION logo has been generated via IA and vectoriezd with Illustrator.

The Layout is made with InDesign.

The original file has been done in French, the the English translation via IA.

This is very impressive. I love the extra attention to detail with the logo. The griffin is incredible. You have definitely given this some serious thought.

The story, the background and the context is such a lovely touch. Great works.

    Cheers

What if animals had to change their fur or feathers every season?
Let's imagine that animals buy new fur or feathers, and that humans are the ones who make them (yes, hands are pretty handy after all). This ad is aimed at the Flamin'girls and Flamin'boys.

Inspiration: Schiaparelli (as soon as there is pink ...) and Repetto (there’s something from Ballet in flamingos).

I used an Adobe Stock Photo that I edited in Photoshop before using Firefly.

I did the logo on Illustrator, as well as the fonts pairing and the layout with InDesign.

Hey @Christelle RD Very impressive. I like the extra attention to the font by adding a bit of a flourish and changing the “i” to “a”.
The fluffy pink clouds add a bit of mystery and curiosity to the ad. I want to see what’s behind the clouds. The enhance hue really makes the image pop.

    Great work.

    Thanks Nate, I appreciate!
Yes, for the logo, I switched the “a” and the “i” around, and it was a really fun exercise to do.

For this image, I started in Firefly, then made some cool modifications in Photoshop (gleam in eye, swamp, lighting)

Dillo Bag(gins)  love the concept Definitely armed for today’s world. :) The diamond eye definitely adds to it.

The dark background adds to the mystery and elegance of the image. A bag that you can roll up and use as armor in your everyday shopping. haha

Never mind the claws you can really dig into the deals and offers.

Interesting you choose a dark mystic forest. Any particular reason for choosing this background?

    Cheers

Adobe Firefly was used to generate the initial cyberpunk-inspired anthropomorphic feline character and futuristic city environment from text prompts. The generated assets were then refined in Adobe Photoshop using layer-based editing, masking, colour grading, compositing, lighting adjustments, and generative fill to improve realism and visual cohesion. Additional graphic elements, including the perfume bottle mock-up, typography, and branding, were arranged and polished using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign to produce a professional advertisement layout.

9 ways to wear life hahaha… love it. Feline for those feeling a bit frisky and bold. Thanks for sharing the workflow: definitely shows in the details like the perfume bottle and as you mentioned the layout.

The body armor is a great touch. Almost like saying, “wearing our perfume will protect you on the toughest of days/ moments: Roar!!!”

InDesign is a great resource when it comes to professional layouts for ads and magazines. I am just unwrapping the world of InDesign.

Any reason for having a fire in the background? Definitely peaked my interest.

    Cheers
