Title pretty much explains it. I have tried created several videos from a firefly generated image of a woman in a meditation pose and the video is simply to have her breathe in and bring her arms up over her head, palms together, and then exhale and bring her arms down to her chest. Keep getting this error for months but dont have enough time to keep messing with it. Ive tried other simple videos of other things and get this message or the message that the firefly image does not meet community standards.

Thank you for sharing the details of what happened, @angusf08

Looking at your prompt and reference images, I noticed you received the error: “We can’t process this prompt. You can edit and try again.” This message appears when the prompt or reference image includes elements that don’t align with Firefly’s AI user guidelines.

In this case, the issue is due to the use of trademarked/copyrighted material (Frozen), which prevents the generation from succeeding. I recommend adjusting your prompt to avoid copyrighted or trademarked names, and instead describe the style, mood, or theme you want. That way, Firefly can generate successfully.

It’s also worth noting that most Firefly models do not generate videos depicting children or child‑related scenes, to ensure safe and responsible use. For requests involving child depiction, you may want to try the Runway Gen‑4.5 or Kling 2.5 Turbo models, which do allow this type of content.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, we’re here to help.

my first attempts (many) did not include imagery. My goad is to illustrate a pivotal moment in the life of F.F. Proctor, the theatrical and vaudeville pioneer. His first expressed his love for performance by emulating the great equilibrists (acrobats) of his era. There are no images of him training for his big act, that of juggling a barrel with his feet while lying on his back, a feat (no pun) he practiced while as a bundle boy in a Boston department store. My prompts were versions of “12 year old lying on his back juggling a barrel with his feat” Young man in newsies type attire juggling a barrel with his feet” when i included a picture of a juggler juggling drums with her feet and a boy in newsies style attire. firefly served up a still image in which a barrel was photoshopped into the image with the woman. Not an animation and of couse, i could have done that myself.

Thanks for your response @richard lovrich,

Could you please share a screen recording or a screenshot of the image generated from Firefly?

how awful and predictable. my current project calls for the animation of the founder of a century old company as he was a youth juggling. in the age of pedophile priests and presidents, your filters need analysis. denying any request for a young person doing anything is obscene.

Hi @richard lovrich,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’d like to inform you that Firefly includes safety measures designed to help prevent the generation of potentially harmful content involving minors.

In some cases, these safeguards may be overly cautious and can unintentionally impact valid requests such as historical, educational, or biographical projects.

To help us better understand what's happening, could you share the prompt and any reference images you are using?

Also, this can happen when the prompt or reference image includes elements that don’t align with Firefly’s AI user guidelines.

I have a similar issue and I need help. I’m attempting a quick video for my friends solar company. He owns the logo copyright and the company is named after his children. The images for reference are AI generated, so not real children. This is the setup:

Firefly Pro

Prompt:

For my business - JOE Solar: A group of four is revealed one by one in a warm, golden sunlight. The scene begins with the brunette (1st image - 2nd character) wearing glasses, holding a sign that reads "J is for Jaz". She is followed by the male (1st image - 3rd character) with headphones, holding a sign that says "O is for Olly". Next, the blonde (1st image - 4th character) smiles and holds a sign that reads "E is for El". Finally, the man (1st image - 1st character) steps in behind them all, holding a sign that says "Meet the JOE solar family". The background features a house with solar panels shining in the sunlight, creating a serene and eco-friendly atmosphere. The camera moves smoothly, capturing the joyful family energy. The video ends with a 1-second shot of the JOE solar logo (the line underneath is "Solar for every Joe". Also display the website at the bottom of the final section with the logo: joesolar.co.uk. Overall inspiration is the second attached image. The overall style is cinematic and smooth, emphasizing the family's happiness and the eco-friendly theme. The audio should be calm and bright, swelling to the final second with the logo.

But I’m being told

What recommendations would you have to get past this? The entire point of the video is to ‘meet the solar family’ and the company is named after the children.

Hi @mattbr,

Welcome to the Adobe Firefly Community! We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Could you please try the steps mentioned below and let us know if that helps or not?

  • Refresh the page and try generating the video again after a few minutes.
  • Simplify the prompt and test with a basic prompt.
  • Remove the reference image and test a text-to-video generation.
  • If using a reference image, try a different image or recreate the image in Firefly.
  • Ensure only one video generation is running and close other Firefly tabs/windows.

I am having this same issue, it was working fine a few days back and now not working - and using up my credits even though nothing is being generated

Hi angusf08,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Just to clarify, credits are deducted as soon as you click Generate, but if the generation fails with an error, those credits are automatically returned to your balance. You only need to check the credits after an error occurs.

To be able to help you, please share the following details:

  • The prompt and model used
  • Full screenshot of the error

Let us know once you have that, we’ll be glad to help.

Thanks for your reply - this was the last prompts I used - I had tried others, also on the video generation as seen on the attachments.

Create a high-resolution cinematic product image using my uploaded shoe images. Keep the shoe design accurate, including its exact shape, colours, Frozen artwork, strap, laces and sole - DO NOT edit the shoe in any way.

Place the shoes floating in the foreground of the attached reference image titled Magical, with soft blue lighting, frosted textures, sparkling particles and a dreamy winter atmosphere. Make it feel like a premium movie-style product shot. Position the shoe as the hero in the foreground.

Do not include any text, logos, price tags, people, characters or extra shoes. Keep the shoe sharp and detailed, with the background looking beautifully animated and suitable for later video animation.

Video version

Prompt - Animate this image into a short cinematic product video. Keep the shoe fixed and accurate while adding subtle magical movement to the scene. Add gently falling snow, sparkling ice particles, soft glowing frost swirls, moving light rays, a slight camera push-in, and shimmering reflections on the icy surface. The shoe should remain sharp and unchanged. Do not add any text, logos, price tags, people or characters. Keep the mood magical, premium, animated and cinematic.

DO NOT edit the shoes in any way

*Note the image was originally created in firefox too

Same issue,  can’t load the video I already generate.  Very frustrating!

I have an AI image of a woman in a loose grey t-shirt and jeans and tried multiple times to get her to dance, hip-hop, shyly, sixties style, or do fashion poses for a photographer and each time it says to edit, it can’t display video. I must have tried at least 50 times using up my credits. She’s not even sexy, just a woman in a loose t-shirt and jeans. What is going on?

Using Adobe Firefly. Attempted to generate a video from an image downloaded from Adobe’s FREE stock image options.

This was my prompt:

A close-up of a chalkboard with a checkered pattern. The board is seen erasing the previous x's and o's, revealing a clean surface. The  female hand, wearing a checkered sleeve, moves across the board, writing three x's diagonally inside the checkered lines with deliberate strokes. After the x's are written, a line is drawn over them, emphasizing the pattern. The background remains static, focusing on the chalkboard which then transforms in color into neon purple. The lighting evolves into a gradient hue of blue purple and indigo, highlighting the chalk marks clearly. The video maintains a steady pace, capturing the precision of the hand's movements. The overall style is straightforward and instructional, emphasizing the process of marking and highlighting.

Mind you this prompt was suggested by the “Enhance prompt” feature.
I used up credits for this and it’s sad that I’m losing credits and getting nothing in return. I feel short changed. I don’t want to keep trying for nothing. If the prompt is too much I wish it was intuitive enough to say that so that I can understand what I’m doing wrong.

How do I make a claim so that I can get back my credits?

Seems to be a typical Adobe con job.
Don’t waste our time and please don’t waste our credits. Please fix this issue. We are all capable of jumping out of Adobe products any day.

@Kartika Rawat

I’m getting the same exact issue, no matter what the prompt is I’m still getting error:

Can't load

We can't process this prompt.
You can edit and try again.

Could you please provide steps on how to fix this issue? and also losing credits like this is not what I expected

Thank you

Have the same issue. It gobbles up my credits then “Can’t load” the generated video. What a joke, Atleast with Higgfield it will refund you the credits if it fails.
I was using Latest chrome, Windows, Cleared cache etc..

Thank you. I’ve been playing with it more, and seems that when I use Veo 3 models its is bring up this error (seems to work for ray, pika, veo 2 and runway). Also when I use fireFly model it tells me the reference image is not within guidelines.. The reference image is a first person shooter gameplay footage, so there is a gun in shot. However when I use a tame image Veo 3 still wont work. Spent 1500 credits working this out...
