Question

error in generating while trying famous person in prompt

Hello Adobe Support / Community Team,

I am facing a persistent issue with Adobe Firefly for the last 2 days. Every time I try to generate any image, it immediately fails and gives the error message: "Something went wrong. Please try again later."

This error is happening on every single prompt, including extremely basic text prompts like "A simple red apple", as well as when using the Character Reference feature.

To resolve this on my end, I have already tried all the standard troubleshooting steps, but the issue remains unresolved:

  1. Different Browsers: Tested on both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge (same error persists on both).
  2. Cleared Cache & Cookies: Cleared all browsing data and tried using Incognito/Private mode.
  3. Account Refresh: Signed out of my Adobe account and signed back in multiple times.
  4. Firewall Settings: Checked Windows Defender Firewall, and both browsers are fully allowed for private and public networks. I also tried turning off the firewall temporarily, but it didn't help.
  5. Network Change: Switched from my primary Wi-Fi network to a Mobile Hotspot to isolate any ISP or IP blocking issues, but the error still shows up.

Since the problem happens across different browsers, networks, and even on basic prompts, it clearly appears to be a backend account-level glitch or a server-side restriction on my Adobe ID.

Could you please look into my account status and refresh it from the backend to fix this stuck generation issue?

Thank you,
Anshu

Hi ambitious_painter32c9, thank you for the update, but that is actually not the main issue here.

I have already verified that the issue is not the prompts, as the same issue occurs with other accounts, and image generation is working on other accounts, and the issue is still happening with normal prompts like 'A simple red apple'.

Furthermore, I just connected with a live support agent to investigate this. They reviewed everything but couldn't pinpoint the exact cause of the issue from their end either. This continuous error is strictly isolated to this specific Adobe ID, and it's clearly a backend account glitch rather than a prompt violation.

Could you please escalate this to the engineering team so they can look into my account status and refresh it from the backend?

    Hi there, ambitious_painter32c9!

I figured it out the issue. Whats happening for this prompt not to be generated is that is not following our Guidelines.

Copyright & Public Figures: To keep everything commercially safe, prompts requesting trademarked content, celebrities, or political figures will be blocked.

And, since Pablo Neruda is a really famous person, the prompt will not work.

Hi ambitious_painter32c9, thank you for the update, but that is actually not the main issue here.

I have already verified that the issue is not the prompts. Even when I use generic, normal prompts like 'A simple red apple' with absolutely no celebrity names or guidelines violations, I still get the exact same 'Something went wrong' error.

Furthermore, I tested the exact same prompts on my other Adobe accounts, and image generation is working absolutely fine over there. This continuous error is only happening specifically on this particular Adobe ID, regardless of what I type. It is clearly a backend account-level glitch rather than a prompt violation. Could you please escalate this to get my account status refreshed from the backend?
