I have generated a video, it appears in my history however when I try to open it, it directs back to the generate page. I cannot download it either. when using chrome I can preview it and it plays in a small window, however that is all. credits have been taken for it.

Could you have a look in your Creative Cloud and see if you can download your video from there.
How to reliably download your files
In your Adobe Creative Cloud you can find your files there and download them. Here s a short video showing the steps
