Firefly was struggling to generate an accurate image based on prompt. when I finally got something close I used the edit function. however when I tried to edit with a reprompt I got an alert that the image that firefly created was in violation of the user guidelines.

    Hi mengelmann,

I just received an update from the product team. They explained that this behavior is due to differences in the moderation rules applied to Firefly models versus Partner models, so the models may behave differently.

We understand this can be confusing, and I’ve shared your experience with the team so they’re aware of the impact. For now, switching to a Partner model is the best workaround.

    Hi mengelmann,

Thank you so much for raising this question.

I completely understand how confusing it can be to receive a user guidelines violation message when using the same image that Firefly created. In this case, the violation is likely triggered due to nudity.

I ran a quick test and was able to reproduce the same warning message with Firefly Image 5 (see arrow in the screenshot). However, when I switched to a partner model (GPT Image 1.5), the generation was successful, please switch to a partner model as a workaround for now.

I’ll escalate this to the product team to confirm whether this is expected behavior or not, and we’ll keep you updated.
