Firefly historical image generation

Question

Firefly appears to be suffering from the same historical image generation problem recently identified with Google. I tried to generate an art image of Edgar Allen Poe to use in an exercise for a media class. Poe was a Caucasian American poet born in the 1800's. I simply could not get an image that reflected this. I finally just grabbed an image off the internet to use in the exercise, but that negated my intention to also use the image in a secondary role as an example of the images that could be generated in Firefly. I asume Adobe is working on the issuue but....

Perhaps you'll have better results requesting what you're looking for instead of using famous or brand prompts.  Firefly does not reproduce famous people or trademark brands.  Try simply "a Caucasian American male poet born in the 1800's."

This is actually an interesting test for stable diffusion models in the public domain. Here is what I get with Krita's AI plugin:

...it's an actual portrait of Edgar Allen Poe. With some symbolism thrown in to boot 🙂

Honestly I find this a bit unsettling. A colour photo of him that never existed. I prefer the paintings.

This one has a bit more drama to it.

Here I added a fictional version of his young wife Virginia Eliza Clemm in a more cinematic and symbolic scene. She fades out near the bottom to infer historic events. I used several selections and prompts to build up the image.
