Question

FireFly is eating my credits, but then "something went wrong" no image generated and credits gone. That's borderline dodgy guys. please contact me asap.

Hello,

I’m writing to formally raise an issue with Adobe Firefly.

Firefly is repeatedly consuming my credits, then returning a “Something went wrong” error with no image generated. The credits are still deducted despite the process failing. This has happened multiple times now.

To be blunt, this feels borderline unacceptable. I’m effectively being charged for outputs that don’t exist, with no warning, rollback, or recovery mechanism in place. From a user perspective, that’s not a minor bug — it’s a billing and trust issue.

I’m unhappy with this experience and would like the credits that were consumed during these failed generations to be reimbursed as soon as possible. I’d also appreciate clarity on whether this is a known issue and what’s being done to prevent it from continuing.

Please contact me ASAP to resolve this. I rely on Firefly as part of my workflow, and this behaviour makes it difficult to justify continued use.

Thanks,
Franco

When you press the generate button, the credits for that generation are deducted from your balance. If the generation fails with an error, the credits should be added back, but it might not be instantaneous. If after a few minutes and reloading the page the credits have not returned, please take a screen shot of the full browser window, preferably with the error showing, and tell us what model, resolution, and length you were using.
