Firefly is making me generate a prompt twice and charging for both in credits. The first prompt appears briefly then dissapears with no thumbnail or anything. Then I have to create it again and it stays as a downloadable image.

EDIT: “The images that disappear, do show up in the ‘generate’ menu archive, just not the active generate screen I am on, so I have to open a new tab to see and download the first images.”
I start to generate an image with a text prompt. Firefly creates the image, showing it momentarily, and charges the credits for it. Then it disappears and returns to the empty screen with my text prompt. I have to hit the generate button again, which charges me credits again, and then it produces an image that stays. I am charged twice the amounts of credits for a single image generation.

    We understand how frustrating it must feel to see your first generation disappear from the main page and then feel like you’re being charged twice.

    To clarify: when you generate an image, the credits are consumed at that moment, and the result is stored in your Generate history. Even if it doesn’t remain visible in the Text to image page, it hasn’t been lost, you can still access and download it from your archive. When you hit Generate again, that’s treated as a new request, which is why credits are deducted a second time.

    Because each generation is processed and delivered to your history, credits unfortunately can’t be refunded. If something looks off or unexpected during the first attempt, the best step is to pause and reach out to us before trying again. That way, we can help troubleshoot and make sure you don’t spend extra credits unnecessarily.
