Firefly is terrible

Not really a bug, but I dont know what else to put it under. Firefly ignores most of my prompt and gives me simple low quality images that dont even make sense. I describe what I want with great detail and its frustrating that it ignores what I want and gives me random stuff. I heard great things about Firefly but so far it has beyond disappointing.

I never run into issues.
I think each AI platform works differently to be honest. And the way you write prompts for each platform needs to be slightly modified.

Ever see the guy on Instagram that asks AI to generate something then asks it to do the next thing and the next thine and the next thing. So funny.

But prompting will always require tweaking and adjusting. You never get the winning design the first time. I will go through a lot of prompt tweaking before I get close to what I want on any platform.

The best way to communicate to Adobe specifics about poor quality generations is to thumbs down a generation and provide as specific of information as possible.

This feedback goes to the engineers working on the models. Those engineers do not see all of the feedback in these user forums.

Firefly is still completely unusable for any serious work. Honestly, Adobe should just take it down and relaunch it only when it’s at least on par with tools like Sora v1 or even the early versions of ChatGPT. Right now, the output is consistently poor and feels ridiculous — and it’s embarrassing for Adobe as a whole to have something this weak under its name.

I creayed a 5 second video. The faces were distorted, the movement of a font character was awful compared to other AI's. It dressed a man in a woman's outfit. Neck's were elongated... Just bad.

I used a reference photo of myself, wife, brother, and his wife (all white). The prompt was, "use this image to create an illustration with dramatic realistic colors using the people in the image. Have the people standing in front of a neon sign in red and green spelling out "Merry Christmas". The people are waving, hello. There are colorful Christmas trees in and around the scene in slightly dimmed lighting. A dusting of snow covers the trees and the sign. Use the actual faces of the people in the reference photo."

This is the best of the eight results. You're almost there, Adobe. (sure)

This is from Co-Pilot using the exact same prompt/reference image. This is pretty darn close to what I wanted to see.

I have nothing to contribute except my response as a number to add to those who feel it's garbage. The idea that Adobe wants to charge extra... wow. Another user said they use it for background slop, yep, that's what I use it for too. Cleaning up bits and pieces is fine, trying to generate usable elements though... forget about it.
