Firefly not able generate video

Hello Team,

We have a complete Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and are successfully generating images using Firefly Basic. However, we’ve noticed some inconsistencies across users:

  • Some users are able to access Firefly 5 (Preview) and generate images.
  • In certain cases, users can generate videos, while others receive a message stating: “Contact your admin to request access” when trying to use Firefly Video Basic.

We’ve already checked with our admin team, and they confirmed that all features have been enabled on their end.

Could someone from the community or Adobe support help us understand why this discrepancy exists and guide us on resolving it?

Hi,

Access differences usually come from licensing: some users only have basic Firefly rights (images), while others have plans or add‑ons that include Firefly Premium/Video and preview models like Firefly 5. In many enterprise/teams and EDU contracts, Firefly Video is excluded at the contract level, so admins must compare SKUs/product profiles and, if needed, purchase and assign a Firefly plan that explicitly includes video to affected users.
