Question

Firefly refuses my picture even though it does comply with the rules

I submitted a picture of myself and my mom, and Firefly refuses the picture saying that it doesn’t comply with the rules. We are both dressed, sitting on a bench, I am looking at her, there is nothing wrong with the picture. I just wanted it to be animated because my mom passed away, and Firefly won’t accept it.

    Hi silverhammernz

Thanks for sharing you reference image and prompt.

I tested a few generations with your image using Firefly and Partner models (Gemini 3.1 gave the best results in my opinion).

Generated with Gemini 3.1 after upscaling with Topaz Labs (Gigapixel)

Since the issue seems related to the user guidelines message preventing you from using the image, I’m starting to think the format might be the cause.

Images shared in the community often save in .webp format when downloaded, and I wonder if that affects how reference images behave. I’ve uploaded your image here so you can download and try it again.

Please let us know if the user guidelines warning still appears.

    Hey @Pierre34290849e836

That is a lovely idea. Just wondering are you a child in the photo?
Adobe will not generate anything that resembles a child or a kid.

    Cheers

Yes, but since I didn’t find anything about it on https://www.adobe.com/legal/licenses-terms/adobe-gen-ai-user-guidelines.html it looks like a bug rather than a guideline issue.

    Hey @Pierre34290849e836

Adobe and many of the other AI models will not generate anything with children.
    - no prompts that include words related to children

    - No images with children

    Cheers

    Nate
