Generate Speech

Question

Hi, our team is interested in the generate speech option in FIrefly. We are starting to look at audio description as part of our workload and may have to start describing video shots. As a starting point, we thought we could write up a short script with descriptions and let Firefly put the voice to it. It looks like Generate Speech is in the beta phase. Any idea when it will be released for full use in Creative Cloud?

Hi. Adobe has consistently been closed-mouthed as to their release dates. They don't disclose this information to anybody who may be active in a user to user forum like this, I'm afraid. Even most of the Adobe employees who may monitor these forums would likely not know the intended full release date. That being said, the betas are usually pretty reliable, so you may want to give it a try. The more people use the beta releases, the more Adobe learns, and it may speed up the final release date.
