Generative AI Credits missing in Firefly

I have been using photoshop since windows 98, it used to be the best photo editing software out there, I am extremely disappointed with it now, I pay for the 2TB plan and I am supposed to get generative fill credits, now at one point I had plenty but suddenly they are all gone, when I called adobe of course I was connected to some [deleted] in another country that speaks horrible English and wouldn’t help me at all, am I the only one [deleted] off that I can’t just speak to a person who speaks English as a first language?

Hi James.  I am not familiar with your account by it storage limit.  The Photography plan comes with 1TB storage.  Could that be what you are using?

How long have you had this plan, and have your generative credits been topping up OK up till now?

Is this a one user account? i.e. are you part of a team kor network, and if yes, do you have full admin rights to the computer you are using?

Try signing out and back into the Creative Cloud app.

Check your account tab from the Creative Cloud app to see if you have any billing issues.

Did the credit total suddenly drop from all 1000 to zero?

How do you use Photoshop’s AI tools/functions?

Do you use Firefly?  That can really chew through credits.

When do your gen creds reset?

I’m guessing that signing out and into your Adobe account has the best chance of fixing things if it is a glitch, so try that first and we’ll take it from there.

BTW  I removed the evident signs of frustration from your post.

I have the 2TB one as well.  Originally it was the 1TB pro and then i added 1TB but i don’t think they do that anymore but currently or at least in North America you can snag the pro plan with 2TB.

I have the same problem but my issue is when it uses up my credits and does absolutely nothing.  no error no anything just returns the same image and poof credits are used.  happens all the time and getting someone to explain this is darn near impossible so i gave up.  the way Adobe uses this safe commercial thing as a marketing ploy to land enterprise clients while nurfing their own advancements and screwing over the little guy makes me not use firefly anymore.  its so bad its darn near unusable because of their safety rails that return false positives all teh time still using up credits.

Can you be more specific about what is happening?

i.e. are you going from 4000 credits to zero while doing nothing to use those credits?

Are you creating video with Firefly for instance?

It takes me quite a while to use 4000 credits if just using models like Gemini 3.1 inside Photoshop, so can you give us an idea how you are using Generative AI?

Reading your second post it sounds like you are using Prompts and getting no apparent result.  If that’s the case you need to give us an example prompt and the image you used it on.  There is a definite learning curve with using the AI models.  You might well be using effective prompts without result, but we need to know if that is the case or we are all wasting our time.
