Generative credits deducted when creating a video even though I hit the cancel button

On 5-17, I started to create a video using the wrong video creation model. I hit cancel immediately right as it started to create and the creation was cancelled however the credits for the video creation were deducted from my credit balance anyway. Shouldn’t those credits have been returned to me since the creation was cancelled right away? This error cost me 1375 credits.

    Hi @flutie8211,

Unfortunately, once you click generate, computing resources are assigned to your generation and it starts work. The credits are consumed when you hit generate and this process starts. Even if you cancel, resources have already been expended. That is why credits are not returned if you cancel.

isnt this fall under fishing...I created a prompt hit generate, my network got disturbed for moment but 400 credits dedcuted and i never recived any video, neither it shows in my  Generative history, Adobe should look in to this, as this disappointment is at a larger scale in my orgeniization and  is to Demarket the Adobe products and look for other tools.

Thank you for your response, droopydog500. I guess that means that I really need to watch what I am doing when I generate--don’t want to make that same costly mistake again.
