Getting AI to understand my prompt

"watercolor, 1 koi fish in the pond, blue sky day with a few clouds, pond surrounded by forest and bridge like Monet's in the background, focus on watercolor, space to write"    I did not use the quotes in prompt but it doesn't seem to matter anyway.

This is the prompt I used and I continually get flying fish and fish above the water. I want them in the water but visible.  Is there a better way to word my prompt?
