Give us back the Gemini Nano banana 2.5 pleease

Thank you for the feedback, and the frustration is completely understandable, particularly given the annual plan commitment.

Unfortunately Gemini 2.5 (Nano Banana) is no longer available because Google deprecated the underlying model. Adobe cannot continue offering a partner model once the provider has retired it. The deprecation date was 10 September 2026 and is documented on Adobe's model retirement page: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/apps/generative-ai/model-deprecation.html

The good news is that two newer Gemini models are now available in Firefly as replacements:

- Gemini 3 (Nano Banana Pro) — a significant upgrade from Gemini 2.5 in terms of image quality and prompt adherence
- Gemini 3.1 (Nano Banana 2) — the most current version

Both are available in the model picker. It would be worth trying both to see which best matches what you were achieving with Gemini 2.5, as the newer models have improved considerably in most areas.
