GPT Image 2 failing to generate

The most common cause of this error is when editing with a reference image, GPT Image 2 requires the reference to be a PNG file. JPEG references will trigger this "something went wrong" error every time.

Try converting your reference photo(s) to PNG (most phones and computers let you "save as" or "export as" PNG from Photos or Preview) and re-running the generation.

Another thing this can also be related to browser or session issues. A few things that help:

• disabling ad blockers or strict privacy extensions
• Clearing cache and cookies, doing a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R),
• Trying an incognito window or different browser.
