How to Generate Text to Image in Firefly at a Desired Resolution?

Hello Adobe Community,

I'm currently exploring Adobe Firefly and I’m interested in generating text-to-image outputs at a specific resolution. Could anyone guide me on how to set or adjust the resolution for the images generated using Firefly? Any tips or detailed steps would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for posting this question.

     

    Currently, the maximum resolution is 2000x2000. You can take an image at that resolution into generative fill and expand it, but each expansion is limited to an additional 2000x2000. If the fill area is larger, the generation is scaled.

     

    Adobe has said they plan to offer higher resolution generations which would likely cost more than one generative credit, but they have not said when that might be available.  Please see:

    The credit consumption rates are for standard images of up to 2000 x 2000 pixels. […] We plan to offer higher-resolution images, animation, video, and 3D generative AI features in the future. The number of generative credits consumed for those features may be greater.

    Thank you Droopy. still, when we download the image, the size remains in KBs not able to be used in printing and results are worse in text to image.

    Try the beta, there is an enhance feature to add more detail, but for now, keeping to the 2000x2000 pixle workspace or as a selection for each addition or expansion does give pretty high details if your wording is well crafted (for me at least)
    I made a few 6000x4000 test images just by selectively working and adding as you go... not that hard to work out how to get the best of whats currently available
