Question

How to stop changing proportions of the images when generating background

I have been going through prompts to place an object on a table. However, it keeps changing the proportions of the object to make it all distorted.
I changed the prompts to add "do not change image" "do not change Layer 1" "do not change proportions" etc, but nothing seems to be working. Out of 20 attempts I had one that kind of worked, but it still stretches the image out and I have to edit it down to remove the now weirdly shaped item from the image.

Has anyone found a way to add backgrounds to an image without distorting the main feature of the image?

Can you share screenshots of what you're seeing? Have you tried saving the generated images as a favorite and using that as a reference in text to image?

Hello!

Using Photoshop Generative Fill "sitting on a table" with or without a white background it stretches the picture and sometimes makes it all distorted (one time it gave it legs)

Using Firefly browser version "sitting on a table" with or without a white background it creates a weird border and distorts the image. Sometimes black, sometimes it spreads white inside the image. Sometimes it makes the main image spike out. I have one time had one that I can use as a favorite to reference but then it just made it pixelated moving forward with colors in the background and the main image spiking out like veins.

I feel like I have to be doing something wrong. If I go more specific it doesn't change the outcome of the main image. Is there a prompt that controls the main image so it doesn't change?

Generally, it is a mock up generation to simplify adding a background/shadowing.

Thank you for your help!!
