Question

I am currently unable to generate any videos using Veo model in Adobe Firefly.

I’m currently unable to generate any videos using Adobe Firefly. I consistently get the message:

“Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

This happens every time I try video generation. However, when I use Google Veo directly, video generation works without any issues.

I wanted to check with the community:

  • Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

  • Are there any known limitations, throttling, or restrictions on video generation within Firefly at the moment?

  • Is this related to account type, region, or usage limits?

  • Or are you promoting low quality Firefly video model only?

I’ve tried multiple attempts at different times, but the issue persists. Any insights or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hey @SurajitS

Thank you for your message. Each model is a bit different in it’s restrictions.

We need additional information to understand what is happening. Can you please reply with the following information:

• A screen shot of the whole browser (including your avatar in the upper right corner) with the error or problem showing or when the problem is happening (not just the error message itself).

• A copy of the keyframe(s), reference images or video you were using (if any), or image you were using in generative fill.

Could you provide an example of your prompt(s)?

Common problems

  • Trademarked / Copyright
  • Political figures / Celebrities
  • Children (Adobe will not prompt anything with  regards to children)
  • Nudity

Cheers

Nate

Hi Nate,

Sharing a screenshot for reference.

Note:

  • The first frame image was created using Whisk.

  • The image includes a child cartoon character. Similar characters have been used in many previous videos and have produced proper results.

  • I’m also able to generate output successfully from the same image using Google Veo directly.

Prompt used:

A warm 3D toon-style animation set inside a traditional Bengali home dining room.

Scene flow:

A Bengali boy enters the dining room from one side, walking calmly and looking around.

He is wearing simple Bengali clothes (shirt or kurta with shorts/pants).

Near the dining table, the uncle (mama) is standing or sitting and gestures kindly with his hand, saying “come and sit” in a friendly, welcoming manner.

The boy smiles, walks closer, and sits down on a chair near the dining table.

Characters & Expressions:

Boy: curious, polite, slightly shy smile

Uncle: warm, inviting expression, gentle hand gesture

Dining room environment:

Wooden dining table and chairs

Steel plates, glasses, or serving bowls on the table

Traditional Bengali home interior

Soft, warm indoor lighting

Animation details:

Natural walking and sitting motion

Uncle’s hand gesture slow and clear

Subtle facial expressions showing comfort and family warmth

Camera & Composition:

Medium-wide shot capturing both boy and uncle

Camera at eye level

Smooth, steady movement (no fast cuts)

Mood & Tone:
Homely, welcoming, gentle family interaction
Kid-friendly and comforting

Style & Render:

High-quality 3D toon style

Rounded characters, expressive faces

Soft colors, clean textures

Aspect Ratio:
16:9

Render Quality:
Ultra-clean render, soft shadows, cinematic depth of field.

Please let me know if you need any additional details from my side.

Thanks,
Surajit

Hey @SurajitS

You used the word: “boy” in your prompt multiple times. That is the troublesome word.

Cheers
