I asked Firefly to use a reference image and the prompt was not followed at all. It changed the background in the image from desert plants to multi-colored underwater coral

The image I was trying to emulate is an outdoor scene outside a home of a truck. I asked the prompt to remove the truck and imitate the image. The image that was offered from Firefly shows a pink and blue pickup truck that seems to be underwater with coral in many colors around it and floating creatures. A pretty extreme miss on the prompt

Oh… that is kinda fun. hahaha… definitely not what you wanted though.
For jobs like this I would use the Remove/ Edit tool.

In my situation I did not want to edit since I did not create the original photo. I didn’t want to encounter any copywrite issues. So, I wanted to create a new photo that used the one that I had found as inspiration. I have found it easier to begin with an actual photo as opposed to just trying to describe a location in text. Thanks though!

Could you upload a screenshot showing the reference image, the prompt, and the outcome?

Regarding prompting
You may want to put “Use the reference image...” at the beginning of your prompt if you want to use your reference image.
